      Knowledge and Content Specialist Interview

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Clipboard in May 2024

      Interview

I applied online and received an automated "next steps" email a few hours later. They gave me a take home test and then outlined the interview process that would take place if I was moved forward. I shouldn't have bothered with the test. It was very vague and poorly-worded, there wasn't any way to follow up and ask questions, as it came from a no-reply email address and was a huge amount of work for a junior position. The test had three sections: One based on gathering information, one focused on improving an old knowledge base article that's very jumbled and convoluted, and one creating a flowchart documenting the improved process outlined in your improved article. A project of this scope is easily a couple of days worth of full-time work and they're asking candidates to perform them for free... this stuff isn't theoretical, either. It's ridiculous to ask a candidate to perform a task like this when you haven't even interviewed them or quoted a salary. I limited myself to ~5 hours on the project, since I hadn't even talked to anyone, and then I got a rejection email at 2:30 AM this morning. It's obvious they're using these case studies/take home tests to get candidates to do work the company can use and profit from. Just adding my voice to the chorus of other folks telling you not to bother applying for them.

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

Detail every document that you think Clipboard Health should require for CNAs working in Pennsylvania and your reasoning for requiring it. Please include a brief description for your process of finding these requirements. If there are any requirements you considered including but did not, please feel free to include those with your reasons for excluding them. (100 words or less per document)
      Answer question

      Question 2

Identify the main concerns with this article. Then, clearly explain the steps you would take to improve the article. You may use examples if you wish. Remember - your article should be made for our specialists; not for our HCPs. If you would like to reuse some of the language in the original document, you can find a text only version here. Please note that this is just to make reusing any information easier. For additional context, below are the descriptions and instructions we provided to healthcare workers when this page was live. This is provided so you understand the expectations we set for our workers when they upload. Description: Proof that you are negative for Tuberculosis. We accept skin tests (TST), blood tests (Quantiferon), or chest X-rays. Instructions: Please upload a TB test completed within the past 12 months or a chest X-ray completed within the past 5 years. The document must show negative results and/or '0' induration as well as your name, date of service, and at least one of the following: reader/physician’s signature, stamp, or complete contact information.

      Question 3

Use your recommendations/examples to create a flowchart that demonstrates this process to our specialists in a simplified way. Feel free to be creative in how you want to structure the flowchart.

      Interview

Don’t be like me. Heed these terrible reviews about their recruiting process and stay away! I applied and got an auto reply to take their “take home test” which was to make a 3 part case study on an old and poor quality internal document (also noted that there would be three interviews if I passed this part). I started the project but got a weird feeling so checked Glassdoor. Review after review talks about their terrible process and how they constantly are “hiring” but never seem to actually hire anyone. I checked and they have dozens of openings that were reposted again and again on LinkedIn. There’s no way they are actually adding that many staff and I agree with other posters that Clipboard Health is just likely farming our ideas. For the position I applied to, there were over 1,000 applicants. If only a fourth actually applied, that’s a lot of data they are getting. Against my better judgment I went ahead with the case study even though it was likely futile. I was mostly done and still had a sliver of hope. I was auto rejected swiftly after. My case study was very likely directly useful to them and I do regret spending time on it. Bottom line: please don’t waste your time. They are taking advantage.

Really terrible - stay away from this company. Do not do the take home test. Do not dedicate any of your time to this. This company is bizarre and exploitative and wildly inappropriate.
