      Sales Interview

      Jun 26, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Clipboard

      Interview

One of the most unprofessional interview experiences I’ve had. I went through 6 rounds of interviews, including interviews at odd hours, disorganized communication, and unprofessional text messages instructing me to say certain things to specific interviewers but not others. I felt judged throughout the process, including inappropriate comments about where I lived. To make matters worse, I received LinkedIn messages welcoming me to the team before I was ultimately rejected. The company also contacted multiple former colleagues and sales managers without my knowledge or consent, leaving several of them confused about why they were being contacted. After investing so much time, I expected a respectful and organized hiring process. I would think twice before joining this company.

      Question 1

Why do you live there? Why did you say this to her I told you not to say that

      Interview

The interview was fast and furious. Then they ask to complete numerous case studies. Seems fishy and like a scam. I did not proceed as I did not have the time to complete all the coursework, even to see if I would be hired.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell us more about yourself. Why are you interested in the company? Etc. Swift interview.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Clipboard (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2024

      Interview

Very long, misleading, capturing free work through long case studies as the initial part, and overall horrible interview process. Starts with a case study, then an intro convo, then another case study, then couple more calls with the managers. This is an exploiting recruiting process, as they are misleading candidates to complete the case study, which is overall free work that they are capturing towards achieving their own business goals. And as a response, the reason is we want to give more people an opportunity to do the case study, that's even worse! This should be reported and Clipboard should not follow such unethical practices!

      Question 1

Complete a free case study - which requires a full days worth
