      Ultimately disappointed with my experience interviewing here. I had an initial phone screen then was asked to go into the office in person somewhat last minute. They offered to do it over zoom as well but I figured it would be best to go in since that is what they had requested. The in-person was scheduled for 30 minutes but that wasn't anywhere close to enough time. They did not have a set agenda and it felt more like an interrogation than an interview if I am being honest. The lack of structure made it hard to understand what they were asking, and without a demo of the product I didn't have much to go off of other than the research I had done online. I could tell immediately when something I said did not land given the reaction. What they’re looking for is a CS Director who can write playbooks and establish the entire team from the ground up as well as manage a full size book of their own. What they’re advertising is a traditional CSM role, with a salary to match. Upon leaving, ceo introduced me to the *entire* office and said they would like me to come back the following week for a demo. I was surprised when someone (not ceo) emailed me to tell me they 'decided to go in a different direction' when he had verbally asked me to continue the conversation. The email contained spelling errors and was clearly written in haste. Something they might want to double check moving forward, especially when candidates have already invested a few hours of their time. They also require 5 days a week in the office at the WeWork that seemed quite small.
