However, their dismissal of layoff concerns during the interview (followed by rescinding my contract) showed a lack of transparency. The company’s stability was misrepresented. Despite signing a full-time contract in April 2025 (with a start date in August), they canceled it weeks later due to layoffs, directly contradicting the assurances.
