Interview
Short, 20 minute panel interview. I was asked to describe my experience with SQL, so I described my experience with it in my Comp Sci coursework and personal software dev projects only to be met by confusion from the interviewers as to why I am talking about software dev as if it isn't a relevant use case of SQL to theirs or even relevant to the role in general. This is also in the context of a Computer Science degree being required for the role. If they think software dev and programming isn't relevant to this role, they need to rethink their degree requirements because that's the whole point of a Comp Sci degree. If you have a Comp Sci degree, don't waste your time.

Interview
Initial phone call and then met at the utility department for a panel interview. I was asked a variety of questions related to the job and my goals. The testing after the initial interview was fun. The interviewing process seemed to take a long time, about 6 weeks from phone interview to starting.
