I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at City Year in Nov 2014
Interview
I applied online and I missed the first deadline but made the second. It took about 4+ weeks and I got an email about scheduling a phone interview about a week later. The interview process was about 35 minutes and I had mine over the phone due to being out of state.

Question 1
"What are lesson plans or skills that can help with developing working professional relationships?"
Very simple. Quick virtual interview and pretty simple questions. Research their values and what not and you should be good to go. As far as I remember it was a single interview and decision is relatively soon after that.
Really friendly and welcoming. Try to make it as comfortable as possible and share about the work they do. They want to ensure applicants are making the right decisions and that they assess the values.

Interview
Done over zoom and not an overly long process interviews are usually conducted by the IM for a school in the city you are applying for but if you have a pulse you should be fine
