      Solutions Engineer Interview

      Dec 12, 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Munich, Bavaria
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Cisco (Munich, Bavaria)

      Interview

      Solutions Engineer Interview

      Sep 26, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Cisco in Aug 2025

      Interview

I went through multiple rounds of interviews for a Cisco Solutions Engineer role, including technical interviews, a peer panel, and even preparing and presenting on Cisco SD-WAN. The feedback during the process was consistently positive — one panelist even told me the interview went well. And then? Silence. No closure, no communication. I only discovered the role was closed when I logged into Cisco’s careers site and saw my status change. After weeks of effort and follow-up emails, I never received any professional notice from recruiting or the hiring team. For a company of Cisco’s size and reputation, this is unacceptable. If this is how Cisco treats candidates they’ve actively engaged and invested time in, I can only imagine how little they value employees once they’re inside. Cisco talks about culture and collaboration, but their hiring process shows the opposite — disorganization, lack of respect for candidates’ time, and complete failure to communicate. Don’t waste your time here unless you’re prepared to be treated like a number in a broken system.
