I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Chobani (Twin Falls, ID) in Aug 2015
Interview
Submitted my resume through a contact within R&D and applied online. Received a call from the recruiter 2 days later and he asked many screening questions (background, relocation, salary...) and set up a phone interview with the R&D director for the following week. Phone interview was about 45 min & primary focused on typical interview questions (background, knowledge of company, strengths/weaknesses etc.). Set up a phone interview with VP of R&D for the following week which focused on what I new of the product & comparison with other companies/market-share and also touched on relocation possibility. Set up an on-site interview with HR for the following week. Met with director and VP. Interview was very academic: focused on background, flavor perception of yogurts, talked a lot about the position details etc. Did not get to meet any other R&D employees. Found this odd.
It was typical. I talked to the internal recruiter first, didn't hear back for a while then was accepted to the next round to interview with the hiring manager and team.
