Reached out by recruiter. Discussed the role and responsibilities and then she asked me my salary expectations and basically tried to convince me that salary is not everything. I felt this was not how recruiters should be gaslighting candidates when the budget for the role is lower than what a candidates expectations are. Ended up not calling back
