Based on reviews from 2023 / 2024, it seems like this company has not matured or learned how to behave professionally. I had 4 interviews and I have officially been ghosted. I shouldn’t be surprised about this given their poor communication throughout the interview process, but I was hopeful. While Mill has a great product, and is mission driven, they seem to lack critical experience and professionalism to push the business forward. If they want to succeed, they need to invest in experienced talent that can lead and mentor the team, and guide the company in the right direction.

The process seemed a bit disorganized and confusing. Most people were nice, but didn’t really give me a feel for what the role would involve. The culture also seemed a little strange/unwelcoming.

Interview
Following a conversation with the recruiter and subsequent discussions with the hiring manager, I was tasked with preparing and delivering a presentation to a panel of evaluators via the Zoom. Unfortunately, subsequent to the presentation, I received feedback indicating that I was not qualified for reasons that were not addressed or required as part of the assigned task.
