      Specialist, Revenue Enablement Interview

      Apr 5, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Checkout.com (London, England) in Mar 2025

      Interview

The process was outlined as having four stages: an initial recruiter screen, a second-round interview with the Director, followed by a third stage that included a panel with the hiring manager and cross-functional stakeholders — where I was also asked to deliver a presentation. The final round was with another manager. During the third stage, it was mentioned that there might be an additional follow-up with the Director, but I wasn’t able to get clarity on whether that was part of the formal process. Overall, the interviews were thoughtful and focused on collaboration, enablement strategy, and stakeholder alignment. I took part in multiple rounds of interviews—an initial screening, two on-site interviews (including a presentation), and an additional online interview. Despite this significant time investment, the final feedback was stalled due to internal coordination issues. I was given a timeframe for the next steps, which was not respected, and I had to follow up to understand what was happening. When I did take the initiative to follow up, I was initially stalled and then abruptly informed I was no longer in the process. I requested feedback—especially since the interviews had seemed positive—but never received any. To be eliminated after asking reasonable questions raises concerns about how aligned the company’s stated values are with actual behavior. While each individual I met was pleasant, the overall candidate experience felt dismissive. Respect for the individual and transparency did not come through in this process. Based on this, I would be cautious about recommending Checkout.com to others unless there are changes to how candidates are treated.
