The interview process involved both a phone and zoom / virtual interview. I interviewed with 2 different people. It was all fairly straightforward with an initial phone screen and then a zoom interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Charm City Concierge in Sep 2018
Interview
Applied online which was followed by a phone screening. After the phone screening, I was invited to interview in person. The interview was fairly standard. I interviewed with two women. Most questions were scenario based designed to test my creativity. It was strongly mentioned that it's an independent role. After the interview ended, I was told they would be reviewing all candidates and be in touch with me within the next few weeks.
My issue with this company comes with the way they completely went ghost after the interview. I followed up the next day by writing two separate but detailed thank you notes to the two ladies I interviewed with. I NEVER HEARD BACK from either one of them. So, a week later I wanted to know the status of my candidacy, and I sent two separate follow up emails again to each woman I had interviewed with just to see where I stood in the process so far. AGAIN NEVER HEARD BACK.
If they were interested in pursuing another candidate, I understand that. However, to completely ignore all my attempts at communication after the interview, when I was told they would be in touch with me is completely disrespectful. I took the time out of my day to drive down to their office to interview as well as taking the time to compose the individual letters. I was completely ignored and disregarded. It's not extremely time consuming to respond to an email and inform me on where I stand. I was very interested in this position, so the fact that not one but both women I interviewed with ignored all my follow up attempts shows how unprofessional they are. It's a blessing though because I would not want to work for a company that doesn't know how to treat their employees with respect. These women's choice to ghost a potential candidate instead of being honest is a complete reflection of the company and not one I would ever recommend to anyone.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself?
Tell me about a time you thought creatively?
How do you handle situations with difficult people?
Thank you for your feedback. With the large volume of candidates and recruiting that we manage there may be occasions that our timelines do run longer than we anticipate. However, we do apologize for not keeping the lines of communication open with you during this process. We value our candidate’s time and strive to provide updates and decision notifications as quickly as possible.

Interview
You have a phone screen with a manager, and then they have you come in to meet with one or two of the managers. Then they will have you come in to meet with property managers to find the right fit for you. I met with two different sets of property managers.
