Didn't pass the second round oa. They asked for improving the algorithm run time complexity.

they asked to implement a disjointed-intervals program
First HR sreening with several behavioral questions. Then a CTO interview with 30mins of technical questions. The technical questions are all factual questions about low-level computer architecture, CPU and Linux. But the depth of knowledge goes way-beyond entry-level. They are looking for not just engineers but tech geeks.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Cepton (San Jose, CA) in Apr 2024
Interview
Technical Screen on Low Level computing knowledge. Topic included pointer handling, hash tables, networking protocols etc. Interview was 45 minutes and did not involve coding. Interviewer was very nice and patient despite my lack of qualification.
