What I would say if HR asks salary expectation
I applied online. I interviewed at CenterSquare Investment Management in Feb 2026
Interview
I was initially very excited about the Senior analyst, Real estate research role; however, the overall application process ended up being one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had.
I had an initial conversation with HR in February, during which I was told I would receive an assessment later that day, along with an opportunity to speak with the hiring manager soon after. After not receiving the assessment as expected, I followed up. Following a second attempt, I received a response apologizing for the delay and confirming that the assessment would be sent that day, along with a request for my availability to interview with the hiring manager.
I promptly replied with my availability, but once again did not receive the assessment. I followed up several more times but did not receive any further responses and ultimately never heard back from the team. It is now May, and the job continues to be posted online.
