Interview was very standard for a high school teaching position: list of questions provided prior to the interview, same questions read roundtable by staff members, and a post-interview writing assignment featuring relevant questions to the teaching profession. This part didn't have any notable issues, but the communication (or lack there of) was terrible. On multiple occasions the principal said he would reach out to me to let me know the status of the job whether I got it or not, but this never happened. I was only able to find out from another employee at the school that the position was filled by another person. I actually interviewed for this position twice over two years, and both times the principal made the same promise and failed to ever reach out to me both times.
