I was interviewed first by the on-site Maintenance Manager, and then called back in a few days later to interview with the General and Assistant Managers of the store. The impression I got from the interviews is that this company looks for people who want to stay at the job and not just some short-term employees who will move on to bigger and better things. They also were very interested in my previous experience with skills required for the job. I really felt like they were trying to make sure I would be a good fit for the position instead of hiring just anyone off the street to show up to work as a warm body.
I was not interrogated like I have been with interviews for other jobs. Instead, the atmosphere was friendly and laid-back and not set up to see if I would be nervous or anxious under pressure. I very much appreciate the managers treating me like an actual person rather than some unwanted outsider.
