      Application

      I interviewed at Carter's in Feb 2026

      Interview

The recruiter got back to me fairly quickly after applying, did a 5-minute phone call screening, and set me up with the hiring manager. I met with the hiring manager on Teams within a week and that lasted about 20 minutes. I was then moved forward to do a panel interview with 3 people, all 30 minutes long, back-to-back on Teams. Was told they needed someone in this role yesterday and were all really pushing on getting someone in the spot ASAP. All the interviews were really easy and conversational, I really enjoyed talking with everyone and learning about the role. The interview process probably took 2 weeks total from the initial phone call to the panel interview. I was then told by the recruiter she should know something the next week. I followed up with her and she said she should know more by the end of the week. After following up the next week, I never got a response and was ghosted. I really enjoyed the conversations and meeting everyone and was really excited about the opportunity, but to be ghosted and not even get a rejection email is unprofessional.
