15 minute phone screen followed by an in person panel interview. The interview was quite standard, asking many behavioral questions as well as healthcare experience related questions. I was also asked about some common healthcare terms and insurance processes.

Interview
The process included four stages: a 15-minute HR screening, a 30-minute interview with the team manager, a 30-minute interview with the hiring manager, and a final additional session (~10 minutes) with the same hiring manager.
The staff I interacted with throughout were pleasant. But my process involved creating substantive work product, including a formal presentation, beyond what is typical for an operational-level role.

Question 1
Questions were primarily behavioral and experience-based, appropriate for a non-technical, operations-focused role. During the second round, I took the initiative to raise the topic of onboarding planning with the hiring manager. Rather than discussing it in the moment, they asked me to follow up by email.
One week later, I was asked to prepare a formal presentation detailing a 30/60/90-day onboarding plan. I prepared and delivered it in the final session. The conversation was minimal, mostly me presenting, and at the end, the hiring manager asked me to send the slides so they could make a decision.
Two days later, I received a standard rejection letter with no feedback. The additional ask was disproportionate to the role, and being asked to produce -- unpaid -- without a genuine conversation or note about it afterward.

Interview
Went through 2 virtual interviews with VP that were about an hours each. Seemed to go very well. Third interview was with a panel of folks including the people that would report to me and Senior VP. Interviews went well (on my part) and seemed to be a good match. Some of the challenges presented to me was to improve team collaboration, communication, cohesion and trust, which I specialize in. Sent a follow up email thanking them and asking for an expected closure date. Receive and email 2 weeks later that they would have a decision by end of week. Never heard back from anyone in the organization. Have never experienced that, especially at a senior leadership level.
