      Waitstaff Interview

      Sep 27, 2011
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Carelli's in Aug 2010

      Interview

Submitted my resume through online posting. Received a call a few days later asking me to come in for an interview with the owner. Interview only lasted 5-10 minutes. Asked about how many years of experience I had and about my Italian wine knowledge. Hint: know the grapes in Chianti! I was called the next day to come in for a work interview- which meant shadowing a server, in order to get a feel for my experience and how I got along with other employees.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      What the grapes in Chianti?
