They have you take a math test for your application which is basic math: measureing with a standard ruler, addition, multiplication, subtraction, division, fractions, percentages. The also do a standard background check as is with all employment. One other thing is they have you do a physical, this is to assess your abilities so that they are sure that you can do the work.
