It was very lengthy, which I now understand why...There is hardly any turnover within the company. I went through a few phone interviews and in person interviews..7 all together.

Interview
Evaluate your background working back from High School. I am sure they feel they can determine character traits by asking about experiences and activities. They can be rather time consuming but they do start with a phone interview.
