      Revenue Manager Interview

      Apr 25, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Camunda in Mar 2024

      Interview

The interview process had too many steps and was quite difficult for a startup. The steps were as follows: 1. Initial phone screen with the recruiter 2. 50 minute call with the hiring manager 3. Take home assignment and 50-min presentation to present to 2 other team members 4. 50-min interview with another adjacent manager 5. 30-min interview with VP They rejected me at the fourth step. The recruiter and hiring manager were nice and transparent. Everything after the third step felt repetitive and unnecessary. I don't know why I needed to keep talking about my experience with what seemed like half the company. They really delve deep into your experience and the take home assignment wasn't too bad. My most negative experience was during the 4th round. As soon as I started, the person I was interviewing with didn't seem engaged and kept yawning during the interview while I was giving detailed answers that I spent hours preparing. That is so rude and I felt horrible after. She seemed like she already had a candidate in mind and was only interviewing me to check a box
