To say that their HR people are stupid is a major understatement. Clueless! Yet so arrogant. They will scan your resume for positions that are expected to match exactly the title of the position you are interviewing for. If they don't see it, they will be wondering why you are applying. They are absolutely incapable of seeing the bigger picture, of understanding what kind of a person the company needs, and why. The only thing that matters to them is that all the HR procedures are followed, that their internal i's are dotted and t's are crossed. If the position you are applying for is the job of your dreams (or you are really desperate for a paycheck), you may soldier on and put up with this crap. Most of the time, however, the candidates have other options these days. The job looked very interesting to me, and the interview with a hiring manager was a good experience, but the HR behavior was a deal breaker. I got a job elsewhere. No regrets.
