      Editor Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CT (Los Angeles, CA)

      Interview

I applied through the website and received an email asking me to take a 90-minute online skills and personality assessment. I received the test for another job. I informed them that I applied for a different position. They responded that they offer the same test for "those jobs." I took the test and never heard back from them. I sent an email asking for an update on the hiring process and the next steps. I never heard back from the company. It's been five months and still haven't even received a message saying, " We apologize for the delay, it's been a lengthy and challenging process . . ." If this company cannot make the effort to respond to applicants who have submitted test results, I've decided that this company is not worth my effort. I want to work for a company that has leaders who DO care for their employees, consider applicants to be potential contributors or clients, and who take the actions (instead of the words) to prove that they care for their employees.

I'm sorry to hear that we didn't live up to our own standards of communication! We do value our team members and candidates. We'll review the application software and communication surrounding it to ensure that everything is functioning correctly (we recently transitioned to a new software and have seen some bugs in it). Applicants typically receive electronic notices as our team advances them in the application process based on various test and interview stages.
