I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at CNA Corporation (Arlington, VA) in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process took about 3 months and 6 rounds of interviews just to be ghosted after finishing all the rounds. I applied on Oct 25 2024. I was contacted a few days later for a technical interview to be conducted on the phone on November 15. The technical interview went well, statistical approach scenario, I was scheduled for an on-site interview to interview with two directors, present my project (another interview), lunch with a team member (another interview), and meet with the VP (another interview). They flew me out and had me stay at a hotel for the night before the interview only. I did this on-site interview on December 4th and flew back home the same day. I didn't hear back from anyone until December 20th stating that I was still under consideration and to check if I had any offers on the table but I won't get a final decision from them until after the holidays. I was contacted on January 8th 2025 stating that one of the directors that wasn't there for my on-site interview wanted me to do another interview with him and it was scheduled for January 17th 2025. This was an additional Zoom interview on top of a technical screening and 4 back to back rounds during the onsite interview weeks after a final decision was suppose to be made. Moreover, during the whole process everyone seemed enthusiastic and impressed with my project and credentials simultaneously giving me a sense that they were about to give me an offer. After the last interview with this director he finished by telling me I would hear from them with next steps the following week. I haven't heard from them since. I found this to be extremely unprofessional and rude given how many rounds I had to go through and the time I spent preparing for each one. No updates, no explanation, no follow up. Just tossed aside like nothing. I had a very unpleasant interview experience with this company.
Thank you for sharing your unfortunate experience. I believe a People Operations representative followed up to clear up any misunderstanding. We seek your input to improve our interview processes.
The process took 2 months.
Interview
Fairly straightforward with a full day interview at the end -- the first few rounds were getting to know you. Last round was you presenting a topic/solution with a panel asking you questions about your findings and research
