It’s 2010 and Congress has decided that the Pentagon has goten too big and that there is too much “bureaucrac bloat” – meaning that it takes too long to make decisions and that, despite the percepon that the work has not increased, the number of people working at DOD headquarters has increased substanally over the last 30 years. Consequently, Congress has legislated a 25% cut in personnel to all offices in the Pentagon. Your sponsor, an office in the Pentagon, has asked you to help it accommodate this 25% cut. Opons include everything from simply eliminang posions but keeping the work and the structure the same to completely revamping all processes and the structure of the office.
