      PL/SQL Developer Interview

      Jun 21, 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CMiC (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2018

      Interview

the interview started with the basic text book questions. Many of my answers were up to the point and the interviewer expected more. More than what i have experienced in my 6 years of development and i can't just guess what they are. They don't pay attention to your overall industry skills and latest technology experience. They will not reveal the result for at least a month and even after that you have to literally mail/call them like 10-15 times to get an update. I ended up with multiple offers from other companies in the time i have been waiting for a reply from these people and i did not pursue it afterwards. People going for the interview.. good luck. you should be very patient for sure.

DB Architecture, Performance tuning and different concepts related to it, Collections and collection methods, SQL loader techniques, Reference cursors, Pl/SQL programs and finding errors in programs are all some of the tricky questions that were asked apart from the basic textbook questions and syntaxes
