A Teams screener interview, followed by an in-person interview, and a Teams interview with one person who couldn't make it to the interview day of. Was asked for expected salary range (there was no listed salary range) and was informed they were going with a different candidate.

Interview
The interview process started with the usual phone screen. That was straight forward. It was followed by a phone interview with the Director of Engineering, again straight forward. Then they wanted me to do a quick project for them with a Skype conference to defend my project. The conference was set up similar to a design review with HR, Director of Engineering, a senior engineer and a trainer.

Question 1
The project was one that thy had previously bid on and hadn't gotten the contract. I got the feeling that if I had done the project the same way they had bid then I would have been asked to come to Newberg for an offer. I had a different concept and it seemed that it did not sit well with them. The video conference did not go well. They use a plugin for Skype that disabled my microphone.
