Online, automated, with 10 pre-set questions with 30 seconds to 2 mins to record an answer. Received an email and had three days to complete. Took about 30 minutes. A question at the end that asked if you wanted to share anything else.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Introduce yourself; technical questions about your expertise in the related areas - this was aimed at the parts of the job advert I hadn't mentioned as having expertise in in my CV
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CERN (Geneva) in Sep 2024
Interview
First stage was a video interview, second stage was a live coding task. The interview experience was not great, they didn't provide any real information about the role and what the expected responsibilities were. After the live coding interview I tried to ask about which team this position was on, what technologies they use and what kind of projects they develop but they refused to provide this information which was quite frustrating.

Question 1
In the coding task I was asked to do a simple leetcode problem first, then a git merge and manual resolution of conflicts, and then the final part was a data analysis section. For the data analysis I had to download a dataset from Kaggle and visualise some trends in it.
