I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CBRE Build (Seattle, WA)
Interview
At first I had a phone interview with two people. After that I was given a take home task which I completed and turned in (basic heres an API build out a list page and a details page). I was brought in from 9 - 1:30 and had 5-6 rounds of varying sizes of groups. First was somewhat behavioral/technical, second take home homework review, third was talking about how I would build out a certain page with components, fourth was live coding challenge, 5/6 were meeting with various managers.
Despite knocking out every technical challenge, I was turned down and when I asked why I got "need someone with more technical expertise along with someone having a broader amount of experiences one would have working at a large company similar to CBRE". Cool. How am I supposed to get said experience when companies like you wont hire me? Thanks for the catch 22.
