It was a very good experience. First was a phone screening, followed by a phone call interview with an engineer. After that, I was invited to the office for an in-person interview.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at CB Insights
Interview
A circus in every sense of the word. 4 interviews with 5 different people and a 2-hour coding exam all over the course of two months.
Tens of hours of my time taken and the end result?
An automated rejection email. Yes, the kind you receive from companies when you're not selected for an initial pre-screening call.
But after passing 4 interviews with positive expereince on each, just received the answer that we are not going to move forward with this application.
Such a waste of time! This recruitment process was one of the most insulting and dehumanizing I've experienced in my career.

Question 1
Build the function calls needed for a bike rental API system. They give you the actual assignment a few days in advance so you can plan out how you want to solve it.
Design the DB structure for comments in a system like reddit. They did not give this in advance so you have to do it on the spot.
