      Commissioning Engineer Interview

      Oct 12, 2023
      Anonymous employee
      San Diego, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CAI (San Diego, CA) in Sep 2023

      Interview

Professional. To the point. Respectful. You could tell what was said was sincer. There was no "faking" of fronting. I didn't feel like I was trying to be "tripped up". I felt the interviewer wanted to share who he was with me and was generally interested in who I was outside of my abilities which qualified me for the position.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Technical questions. Surface level. But in depth enough to prove that I indeed has the baseline knowledge to be taken up as a trainee.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CAI in Mar 2025

      Interview

Too long to describe here, multiple rounds of interviews and follow ups. HR were asleep at the wheel. A complete waste of time for me and everyone from CAI who interviewed me.

      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at CAI (New York, NY) in Mar 2022

      Interview

The hiring process was very transparent, organized and respectful! Definitely the most transparent process I've ever experienced. Both interviews were very professional, without being intimidating in any way. Each interviewer genuinely answered my questions and asked me some good ones as well. Each time, I felt respected and heard, which was very refreshing to experience!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They ask broad questions about your past successes and or learned lessons from failures.
