My interview process with ByteDance consisted of three rounds: 1. An initial phone interview with HR 2. A general coding interview 3. A security expertise interview After the third interview, I did not receive any further response from the company. The third interview experience was particularly disappointing. The interviewer rescheduled the interview twice, and during the interview itself, their attitude felt quite unfriendly and unprofessional.

I went through 2 technical interviews. I was asked about my experience and projects. Then, there were a few technical questions about the coding language I was most comfortable in, followed by a discussion on algorithms.

Everything is remote, depending on the position you apply, you might face non native english interviewers. Everything is done very professionally. You have to install their software to attend the interview.
