I have never seen such a lengthy hiring process in my life... All for an entry level position! Everyone at Bush was incredibly nice, but their process desperately needs revamping. I get that they only want to hire the best people and retain them for many years, but frankly, I found the process to be somewhat insulting. I was called to schedule an initial phone interview in May. Throughout May and June, I had three phone interviews. In July, I was asked to fly down for an on site. During the on site, I met with 6-8 people from many different departments, with each of whom I met for at least 45 minutes. Most of them didn't have formal interview questions: they just wanted to get to know me. It was casual. About a week later, I was called to schedule ANOTHER on site (I live two hours away by plane), this time to meet with their Corporate Psychologist and take some reasoning tests. This occurred at the end of August, and I met with 6-8 more people (including some big people like the CEO and CFO) and took lengthy psych/reasoning tests. I was told I would have an answer two weeks following. More than two weeks had passed and I still had heard nothing, so I politely followed up. It was at this time when I was told that they "would not be moving forward at this time". No explanation, no "thank you for sticking it out for six months". People seem very happy to work for Bush, but be prepared for an extremely long, tedious process if you live out of state and are already employed. Good luck!
