I applied through other source. I interviewed at Burford & Ryburn in Mar 2021
Interview
Applied via social media posting. HR professional reached out and scheduled a phone call and then invited me for an in person interview. It was a normal corporate interview and the interview was kind. Even though I asked I get a solid answer on the position. It was a relaxed interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Burford & Ryburn
Interview
I applied online. A few days later they sent me an email wanting to set up an interview. Knew who I was interviewing with before I went in. We scheduled a time and I went in. Didn't have to wait long before they sat me in a conference room with two of the partners. Asked me about my experience, why I wanted to leave my current job, why I wanted to work there, etc. The usual questions that you get during an interview. Then they asked me if I had any questions, which I did. Interview lasted about an hour or so. Maybe less.
Got a call back and set up a second interview. Didn't know who I was meeting in the second interview. When I asked the office manager told me "partners and associates" that are available. The second interview consisted of meeting in pairs just about every attorney that was available. I think I met 9-11 people. They were all generally pleasant. The hard part wasn't answering questions but each group would ask you if you had questions, which I ran out of in the first interview. I think it lasted 2 and a half hours.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All the questions were pretty expected. None stood out as difficult. The difficulty was in the second interview's duration.
