Applied Online. Got an email about setting up a phone interview about 2 days later.
Step 1 - Phone Screen (30min)
Step 2 - Assessment Test at office and In Person Interview with HR (1 hour)
Step 3 - 2nd Interview with Executive (1 hour)
Step 4 - Background Check and References (forms to fill out if you pass the 2nd interview)
Step 5 - Final Offer
You have to take an assessment test when you first arrive. 50 questions/12 minutes. I think I may have answered about 18 questions. You don't find out any of the results or how you did. They keep all of the information under wraps.
HR asks you average questions - 5 words to describe yourself, Strengths & Weaknesses, How would you handle a situation (gives examples of different problems), asks how other people would describe you and your work ethic. Very little is asked about previous employment or projects you worked on.
Overall, a very bland interview - no hard questions and little excitement from the people talking to you about themselves or the company.
I got negative vibes from my 2nd interview. The guy was talking about the CEO and started telling me about how they don't offer 401(k) matching. He said that employees are already paid to do a job, why must a company mingle in their finances if some people choose to save and others do not save. RED FLAGS started popping up everywhere! Employees are looking to save to one day retire and if a company believes they don't need to help out their workers, then I can't see myself working here. I knew at that point that even if I was accepted to move on to the next round of background checks and references, I would decline.
