Got a call for initial phone interview, lasted about 20 min. Really general HR questions. Was invited for face to face interview after the call. 1st interview was 1 hr long with 2 managers asking me questions round robin style. Really no questions that were out of the ordinary. They are really into Sandler sales system, which I have experience using. I could tell they were using the Sandler sales process in their line of questioning. I thought the interview went really well. Although I was disappointed to learn after the interview ended, that there were still 2 more interviews to come. Yes 2 more, assuming of course they wanted to move forward. They called me a day later to tell me they were interested in having me come in for another interview w same 2 managers and the VP of logistics. At this point, I have to admit I was burned out on interviewing because I had another interview the day prior with another company (which I ended up getting an offer). The 2nd interview consisted of the VP questioning me for another hour, yes literally another hour to the dot. I thought I did well, but was not invited for the 3rd leg of the interview marathon. Probably for the better, like I said I got another job offer from another logistics company in a similar role. We never got to discuss money, although the vp did ask how much I w2'd the prior year which caught me off guard and I thought was in poor taste since they made it apparent we would not discuss money until after the 3rd interview. I guess they meant they were not going to discuss money they were offering which omitted a very important part of the Sandler sales system: budget. Odd if you ask me because budget is the most important stage of Sandler sales, which they skipped. Imagine the time we would have wasted to go through the entire process and not agree on money at the end??
