Having been made to feel uncomfortable by you, she reported this to senior management. - You were then called by a company director and advised not make unsolicited advances like this on a member of staff whilst she was simply doing her job. - You said that by asking her out on a date that she should have taken this as a compliment. You were assured that this was not how it was taken and that she was upset by this. - You were not harassed in any way (you had one very short phone call from our director).
