(1) Flex your coding skills
The first step in the interview process is a coding assignment, to be completed in a 48-hour period. The assignment typically takes a couple of hours, but given the fact that your schedule is filled with other commitments, we provide a range of time to complete the assignment.
(2) Phone interview
Following the coding assignment, we will schedule a set of phone interviews. For these phone interviews, I highly recommend researching our company to be as prepared as possible. The best way to do this is by checking out our website, www.brightedge.com and our blog. In these phone interviews, there will be both technical and behavioral questions asked, but it is also a time for you to ask any questions that you have about the company and the position.
(3) In-House interview
For the last step in the interview process, you will be invited in-house to BrightEdge's headquarters in San Mateo, CA. It will be a full day session where you will get a chance to meet the team, visit the office, and spend one full working day with the engineering team. The idea behind the day is to experience how working days are spent with BrightEdge (early-stage startup). We want to make sure that you are comfortable with our team, and vice versa.
