I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bread for the World in Aug 2012
Interview
asked general questions such as tell me about yourself, why do you want this position, what attracted you to company, what skills do you bring. Interviewer was not super engaged, seemed interested in filling the position but didn't seem that interested in me as a candidate. They did not get back to me promptly and I ended up calling them and asking if I had gotten the offer or not and they said yes. Hard to feel that I was wanted that badly if I had to reach out to them instead of vice versa.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
asked about the specific department I had requested to be in and why I wanted that one over other ones
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bread for the World (Washington, DC) in Mar 2018
Interview
I was very smooth, I spoke to the lady who was in charge of interns. She was very sweet and encouraging. We spoke about ways to find housing in DC after I got offered the position.
