Despite arriving well-prepared and bringing significantly more experience than both interviewers combined, I found the interview process underwhelming. The task assigned was rather generic, and while I approached it with thoughtful preparation and professionalism, I was ultimately told I hadn’t met expectations—because I wasn’t “entertaining” enough. Curiously, entertainment was neither outlined in the brief nor listed as a job requirement. It certainly isn't an indicator of experience. One might suggest they were seeking a performer, not a professional.
