Interviewer was friendly, very typical process. In the end, a design test was given. I hope less companies do this type of test during an interview, but it is the reality. Cannot comment on anything further.
I was given the opportunity to interview, everything was going well until I said I was not in LA at the moment, there was a shift in the founders demeanor where he seemed uninterested. I began to ask all of my questions and he rudely interrupted my questions to say, "How about we save your questions for next time, in the mean time I'd like to see you submit a branding proposal on a toy company for me and submit that in the next 24 hours." I sent him my proposal, which was exceptional, and I never heard back, I never received a rejection letter. I was left wondering what happened. I emailed him and the company back and I was ghosted. It was incredibly unprofessional to not receive any kind of response after requesting a submission of a complete branding proposal.

Interview
Typical laid back interview, asking about my experience and creative process. Although, I wasn’t given the opportunity to ask any questions - I let that slide since it was our first touch point. A design project was assigned which I was surprised by but enjoyed the challenge. I put in a lot of effort and spent a lot of time - to be left with no response. Companies, please do not assign projects like this if you are unwilling to reach back out.
