*Frustrating interview experience - Company not responsive, no respect for candidates* I was invited to an interview. The earliest available slot was two weeks later. For me this is typically a red flag indicating that the recruiters are overloaded. One WEEK before the scheduled slot I reached out to the recruiter asking to move the interview to another day and got no response. The scheduling tool did not allow to adjust the slot. Ok, I decided I would try and make it nevertheless. On the day of the interview the recruiter suddenly asked to move it by 1h15min. I explained that I had a scheduling conflict and asked to move it to another day; the recruiter sent one more email and disappeared forever. Unacceptable. Advice: Respect candidates’ time. Hiring process is a two-way street. If you are trying to be a European company, hire European recruiters or teach the rules of conduct to the existing ones. If your recruiters have too much work, hire more recruiters.
