Interview
On recommendation from Monster.com, GM /HR has called on phone for an appointment while I was preparing to move out of town. Interview was scheduled two weeks later. The president and GM / HR were present throughout interview lasting for 1 hour. I was being interviewed at the most troubled phase of the company when the CEO, COO and CFO were booted out and the operations were not at all streamlined. I was asked specific questions about the policy matters of Indian Railways with respect to rail logistics companies and the president seemed quite satisfied with my responses with a relaxed look and complemented 'you are quite young but knowledgeable in comparison with so many others we dealt with so far'. GM/HR checked my certificates and gladly proclaimed that he also graduated from Andhra University.

Indian Railways' officials at all levels do change policies every now and then, adversely affecting our business. You already know the condition of our business and also you were there in corporate head quarters of Indian Railways for so long. Given the opportunity, do you have any plans for streamlining our operations?
