Boston Scientific Senior R D Engineer interview questions

Phone conversation with a recruiter, followed by 2 phone calls with managers. Went on-site and had individual and group style discussions. Everyone was friendly and intelligent. BS is clearly a good company that takes care of its employees. The interview process was fine but the position was just not a great fit -- little overlap between their need and my interests.

Talked with the recruiter to set up a phone interview. I missed the e-mail for a few weeks because of an issue with my phone not notifying but we were still able to set up a phone screen interview. The phone screening employee was in a meeting and was a about a half an hour late. Unfortunately for me this was at night when I was on the other side of the world for work. Still the phone interview process went finr and I did get an on-site interview. It consisted of two or three panels of three or four people at a time. They asked questions about my background experience and career plans and had a lot of Behavioral questions. It was quite formal they even specifically wanted me to reply in S T A R Format which I felt was kind of funny since most people already understand how to reply to behavioral questions but that's okay I guess. In the end I guess I didn't have the very specific experience that they needed though I really do feel I could have done the job rather well but obviously that's not up to me to decide.
