      Associate Territory Manager Interview

      Apr 3, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Boston Scientific in Nov 2024

      Interview

Interview with recruiter, hiring manager, and recruiting manager. All seemed to go well. Questions were based on past experience. Recruiter seemed least educated about role and responsibilities. Hiring manager and recruiting manager were nice, and helpful with understanding the role.

      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Boston Scientific

      Interview

The whole process was disorganized. I scheduled a phone screening, and the interviewer was over 40 minutes late. Things proceeded normally. I didn't make it past the phone screening. Normally, I would take this as standard and accept that there were more qualified candidates. However, based on what the hiring manager said, the #1 reason I didn't move forward was because there was exactly 1 person who was 1 step ahead in the interview process. Apparently the main qualification to work here is to be the first person to apply.

      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Boston Scientific (Ann Arbor, MI) in Aug 2025

      Interview

Interview process was fairly smooth and straight forward. Over the course of 5-6 weeks, there was a recruiter screening, virtual and in person meeting with hiring manager, virtual product presentation, and virtual meeting with another out of district manager. Next would have been shadowing with reps and then a final interview with the VP. However, I was informed by the hiring manager they decided to move forward with an internal employee. Guess there were some politics involved and I’m assuming some pressure to hire from within. A little disappointing to be honest after doing very well throughout the entire process only to have them promote internally. Besides that, every step of the process was straightforward and communicated well.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Asked a lot about my prior experience and looped that into questions about challenges I faced. One question at the very end was, tell me why we should hire you.
