Completely sexist and gossip driven interview process in the ENDOSCOPY division. I have heard things have changed over the past few years quite a bit and it shows.
It seems they already know their decision before they set interviews. You can tell this by the way they corner question and lead you to answers they do not want to hear. Thus, making them feel better about their presumptions decision. Conclusion, it is vastly ego driven. Or some might say a club negatively priding in image exclusivity opposed to productivity. Think college Greek life. Inability to be objective…. This does not make for good long term leadership. Good thing the products are fantastic.
Funny thing is, perhaps while you were reading this the entire time you thought this was another female complaining about equality. Nope. Quite the opposite. Equality goes both ways.
Leadership- I would take a serious look into this. It’s great to socially market and advance as a company in the eyes of the world and competition. However, too much of a “good” thing.. well you know the saying. Balance is key. Otherwise, perhaps ppl that perceive they were previously “oppressed” could shift out of balance due to enhanced emotional volatility.
I’m happily employed in the medical field now. Would still absolutely interview for other divisions within your company as well.
