I received a message on Indeed from the store manager, was able to get an interview that week and was hired a few days later. Overall pretty standard interview questions, as well as just general questions about comfortability around animals and cleaning up after them.

Interview
Got an email response to my application to come in for an interview the following week. I went in to inform the manager that I was there for my interview and she told me to give her a minute so she could finish what she was doing. She then proceeded to talk to an employee at the cash register about what she was planning on doing that weekend. The interview itself was quick, but full of interruptions. We sat at what I assume was the break table in the back room. In the middle of our interview, the manager got multiple texts, a phone call and another manager walked in and started talking to the one that was interviewing me.

Interview
Was told to sit down, basic questions about past experience, what I can contribute to the company. Told about pay which was minimum wage, no commission or bonus. Conditions of workplace. Very straightforward, they were looking to hire and offered job on the spot. Didn't need references or anything else. Low hours specified.
