The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Border Cafe (New York, NY)
Interview
Too many steps involved. Recruiter seem to change information provided each time we spoke. After about 30 days, 1 phone call, 3 interviews and a 7 hour "follow shift" I was given a very vague reason about why I am not being hired. Waste of my time.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Border Cafe in Feb 2015
Interview
I interviewed with four managers it occurred within four different days. The interviews were engaging but repetitive. My last interview was with the General Manager and than I was offered employment and started training. Took four exams before starting.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Border Cafe (Saugus, MA) in May 2008
Interview
Hiring is done through craigslist ads or monster ads. After contacting the ad I was set up with one of the GMs of the MA locations, I had a sit down with him and then and observation shift. After all of that, I had one final sit down the the CEO of the company. Easy questions were asked, if you know restaurants you will be fine. Do a little bit of research on Border before you apply.
