I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bombardier (London, England) in Jul 2013
Interview
It is the standard process as with other major companies- telephone interview, psychometric tests, personality test and then a final Assessment day in London. The process takes up to around 2 to 3 months. I applied in May and went to the assessment center in July. On the assessment day you get 3 tasks. A fact finding and presentation task (mainly to identify whether you can sift through copious amount of data, and be able to pick out important points and present it in a logical and organised manner), then there is a group task and finally a competency interview with one of the Hiring managers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard competency questions eg. give a situation when you have displayed a certain trait or quality, or how did you deal with a difficult person in a team situation etc. They might also ask some technical questions just to see what your understanding of European railway systems is.
